So I'm waiting for my plane right now. I'm still in El Paso, TX at my sister's house, but today is the day that I return Boise concluding my 2 month trip south. I took plenty of pictures while in The Southwest and Latin America. Most of y'all have probably already seen some of the pictures that I've taken, but if not then here's the link: http://picasaweb.google.com/oregonash/Winter2009?feat=directlink
It was a good trip, but I'm ready to settle down for a while before I start work for the Forest Service again.
On a side note, I just purchased a shiny new pair of Rod Laver tennis shoes. I had to ditch my old Quantum footbag shoes for lack of space in my luggage. I had a hard time deciding to buy Lavers and not Quantums as my next footbag shoes, but my decision came down to this: Lavers are cheaper and I can use them for non-footbag purposes. You know I want to support Planet Footbag and their distributors, but if Quantums were cheaper and more durable I would have an easier time doing so.
Either way, I haven't had a serious footbag session in about 2 months. I can't wait to get back to Boise and have a session with Zeb, Jim, Daryl and whoever else feels like kickin' it a little bit. I hope to make it up to Missoula in a few weeks too, but not having my own car anymore makes it a little more difficult. I might have to Greyhound it up there and yellow bike around town. Anyone have a few days of couch space for a poor traveler? Maybe I'll see y'all soon.
Nice moves in the videos, btw Kevin.
Welcome Back
I'd absolutely have some couch space for you for a couple days bro. It'd be sweet to see you up here as Ben is also in town and will be until the 12th. It'd be awesome to catch a session with everyone around. As far as being rusty goes: no worries, I'm right there with you. I rolled my ankle 2 weeks ago and it's still a little shaky.
Anyway, good to have you back, can't wait to hear some stories, and I really like your pictures, especially the ones with monkeys.
